You remember? From that show that didn’t get picked up, Heavenly, about the angel turned human called Dashiel and the human he falls in love with? And the fact he is clearly Dean and Castiel’s love child.
Well, I was thinking that since they made the pilot there must be footage of it somewhere, and there is. It’s only a very short clip in the lead actors showreel.
But here it is, you’ll know it’s the clip because it also stars Lauren Cohen (Bela Talbot):

Notice the dialogue…does it remind you of something? Like maybe things Castiel has said to Dean? Yeah. Also, the writer of Heavenly is also a co-producer on Supernatural.

229 words a minute which makes me 8% slower than the national average. Am I thick? Or is it that I read as if the drama is being acted out in front of me. Am I the only one that does this..imagine that the words are a script and everyone speaks at normal speed?
No, the first time I did this I only got 18% faster than the average, and I majored in English ed, so I read A LOT. The second time, I got 78%, because hey, I had context and wasn’t spending so much time trying to figure out what I was reading, while reading it. How many books or fics do you read where you have no idea what you’re being dropped in the middle of.
Regardless, I’m not a fast reader either unless it’s really, really good and fast paced… then my eyes start skipping over spaces in dialogue and what not. Otherwise, I’m more like you. I like picturing everything I’m reading and digesting. I don’t want to be super fast. I’ve never understood why being able to speed read made someone better than someone else, as is the general attitude.
Someone is certainly finding my fic recs tag helpful. This makes me happy.
